If you’re dealing with missing teeth, partial dentures offer multiple benefits that greatly improve your quality of life. Feeling self-conscious about missing teeth can take a toll on your self-esteem, but dentures give you a reason to smile confidently again. But partial dentures can cost up to $3,100 when you get them from a dentist. This makes them unattainable to many people. But when you buy directly from a trusted warehouse, you can save up to 70%.
In this blog post, we’ll break down the costs of partial dentures when you don’t have insurance and explore some affordable options.
Partial dentures are removable dental appliances that replace one or multiple missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw. They are specially designed to fit around and blend in with the remaining natural teeth, filling the gaps left by the missing teeth.
How long your partial dentures last depends on several things, including the quality of the denture, how well it is cared for, and changes in your mouth over time.
On average, partial dentures can last 5 to 10 years, but some may last longer with proper maintenance.
Coverage for partial dentures depends on your specific insurance plan. Dental insurance plans often categorize dental procedures into different classes or categories, and each class may have a different level of coverage.
Partial dentures are typically considered a major dental procedure, and insurance plans may cover a percentage of the cost after you meet the deductible. The specific coverage details, including deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, and coverage percentages, can vary between insurance plans.
Some insurance plans might not cover partial denture costs at all.
The cost of partial dentures varies widely based on several factors, including the type of partial denture, materials used, the complexity of the design, geographic location and whether you get them from a dentist or a trusted warehouse directly.
Below, we compare how much partial dentures cost between traditional dentists and Dental Lab Direct.
An acrylic removable partial denture has a plastic plate with false teeth set into the base. Metal clasps are affixed to your teeth to keep them secure in your mouth.
$800 – $2,700 per arch
$399.99 – $449.99
The metal clasps are typically made from materials like cobalt-chromium alloy or other dental-grade metals. These materials are known for their strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion, making them well-suited for this purpose. The clasps are custom-fitted to the patient’s mouth and natural teeth, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for the partial denture.
$1,300 – $3,100 per arch
$399.99 – $449.99
Flexible nylon partial dentures’ flexibility allows for a comfortable fit because they can adapt to the movements and contours of your mouth. Because The nylon material is translucent and can blend in with the natural color of the gums, they’re considered more aesthetically pleasing compared to traditional metal-based partial dentures.

Thanks for the partial-it fits good.I also bought a retainer & haven't received it yet. THANKS 😊
Took longer than expected but worth the wait. The tooth fits perfectly, is very comfortable and looks like a real tooth. Very happy with it.
The flexible partial fits perfect, thank you.
I just got my Bellaveneers and can't stop smiling. Thanks DLD!
So incredibly happy! The thickness of the plastic on the roof of my mouth gives me a slight lisp. (Wish it was thinner) But still a way better option than the plastic flipper I was given by my dentist. Would highly recommend!
Fits great looks great
This is my second purchase with DLD. I'm a lifelong customer.
I needed an adjustment after recieving the partial. Sent it back th the lab and got it back the next week. Everything fits perfect now, thank you.
You need to READ the customer notes on the order sheets! I requested a backup nightguard also!
I've worth my retainer for almost a year and never had a single issue, quality and craftsmanship…100%
I had cooked teeth and now you can't even notice it.
This retainer fits perfectly! The techs did such a great job on it. It's actually better than the one I had from the dentist. It fit as soon as I put it in my mouth - I didn't even have to make any adjustments. I am so pleased with it! Thank you so much! :D
Dental direct made it extremely easy for me to get the retainer replacement that I needed. The instructions were easy to follow and it was a very simple process that i could do on my own time. The time to get the retainer back did take a few weeks, but this was the same duration that I was quoted at my local orthodontist who wanted to charge me double to get the exact same retainer but just have them do the work. 10/10 I would use dental direct again.
I totaly recommend Bellaveneers
I had my doubts but the proof is in the pudding lol.
My partial looks and feels great.
