Partial Dentures
What to expect
In the beginning your new partial denture might feel a bit awkward or bulky. This is completely normal, and you will quickly become accustomed to wearing it. We do not recommend wearing your partial all day long the moment your receive it. Just like wearing a new pair of shoes we recommend to gradually work up to wearing it all day so you can get used to your new partial in a more natural and comfortable manner.

What to expect
With proper care, your snap-on veneers should provide you with years of use, although the lenghth of time that your appliance can be used will be dependent on a variety of factors, including how often you wear it (on a regular basis, or only periodically for special occasions), how carefullly you handle and store the appliance when not being used, what you bite and chew on while the snap-on veneer is in your mouth, as well as other factors.

Orthodontic Removable Retainers
What to expect
When you first get your braces off or finish your clear aligner treatment, your orthodontist will provide instructions for retainer wear. For the first few months, most patients will wear their removable retainers full-time, day and night, removing only for meals and drinking, and to brush their teeth and clean the retainers. In certain cases, the orthodontists may instruct you to wear retainers only at night and to switch to full-time wear if you notice some shifting.

What to expect

With some perseverance, you'll soon be accustomed to this custom-fitted mouthpiece, giving your peace of mind with its effective defense for better sleep. Getting a night guard may require some adjustment to ensure it is comfortable and effective. Wearing the initial device could have an unfamiliar feel, but any minor discomfort should dissipate as you become accustomed to wearing your custom-fitted night guard overnight.

What to expect
You should start seeing results from a custom- made whitening gel tray in about a week, with maximum results seen in 2 to 4 weeks' time. The amount of whitening you see will vary based on the strength of the peroxide used and length of time worn. Unless you have sensitivity issues, you should be diligent in how often you wear them. Consistent use until results become visible is important. The application of the teeth whitening varies based on the amount of whitening you desire. If you're not experiencing any sensitivity, you should wear the trays for at least 1-2 hours a day, or even sleep with them in your mouth. However, some patients may require significant wear to ensure stains are removed, while others may only require minimal treatment; it's based on the needs of each case.
